About Martin Oliva
From an early age, Martin Oliva knew that the art of jewellery making was his destiny. After becoming a Goldsmith Master, he started to build up his craftsman skills at the London jewellery centre Hatton Garden.
After 8 years, he established a workshop providing services for Selfridges, Liberty and various shops in Bond Street. In 2010 he received the Gold Award in World Skills UK in Fine Jewellery Making Competition.
In the same year he moved to South Woodford, and in his new location he has opened the shop where he continues today.
Martin strives for perfection. Each piece he creates is made from start to finish with an artistic flair. Simultaneously, every item is predetermined from a technical standpoint.
His jewellery is bespoke and follows a set procedure: drawing, rendering, fabrication and the final polish. He works with both traditional and innovative methods. For example, waxing or micro-setting.
Martin Oliva Jewellery makes you stop and think.
