Terms & Conditions

Please read these terms and conditions carefully before using the site. By accessing the site and/or placing an order, you signify your agreement to be bound by these conditions and you consent to us using your information in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

By confirming the purchase, the customer agrees with our terms and conditions.

How to pay

Payment for goods purchased through this website can be made by secure service and using all major credit cards or paypal. There is NO MINIMUM order value for UK customers. All prices on this website are shown in £ GB Pounds Sterling. In case of orders higher than £8,000.00 a member of Martin Oliva staff will contact you in order to confirm the order and transaction.

Delivery

UK Delivery – FREE Delivery

For the items worth less than £8,000.00 we use Royal Mail Special Delivery. This service guarantees next day pre 1pm service and you, or someone acting on your behalf and authorized by you, will be required to sign a ‘proof of delivery’.  It is important that the delivery address is secure and that an authorised person is available to sign on your behalf. It is also important to check that the parcel is intact before you sign for it. If your parcel is signed for by someone who is not authorized to do so, we cannot be held responsible in any way.

Almost all our pieces of jewellery are made to order, thus we usually quote a delivery time of 14 working days, although in practice most items are despatched between 7 and 10 working days. If you require the jewellery at a sooner date or for a special occasion, then please contact us and we will always do our utmost to meet your requirements.

The process of production of bespoke item starts after the payment clears on Martin Oliva account. Note that delivery time is not included in production time. Production time lasts up to three weeks and when produced, the item is despatched.

Once we receive your order, we will send you a confirmation email. We will stay in touch with you throughout the entire process to ensure that you are satisfied and well informed.

Please note that whilst we strive to keep all prices accurate and up to date, some unexpected fluctuations in the diamond trading markets and the base metal markets may occur, therefore all prices and diamond specifications are subject to availability.

If paying by credit or debit card, we will send the order to the address at which the card is registered. If paying with PayPal the item is sent to the address accredited to the PayPal account.

Ordered jewellery items will be sent in one parcel and on the following day we will send another parcel with the insurance valuation, receipt and diamond certificate (if required) – all this for the Customer’s security.

Europe and all other countries:

If buying from outside UK please contact Martin Oliva staff in order to discuss order and delivery options.

For goods shipped outside the UK, you will be liable for any local or importation taxes or costs due on your purchase.  You may receive a separate invoice from our shipper with these additional customs charges. We do not take any responsibility for the time of shipment if the item was kept in custom duty office for any reason.

Ordering

When ordering a special custom-made item online, we demand a written detailed description of the product you expect to receive, containing size, dimensions, length, weight, metal, stones or any other personalized requirements. The order will be realized accordingly to the written details.

Packaging

Whenever possible, our jewellery is delivered in discrete packaging, without any external markings indicating what is inside. However, international orders that cross country borders, comply with local rules about declaration of value. The actual jewellery is contained in a luxurious gift box with protective outer packaging.

Returns Policy

We do not accept returns of the Jewellery made to special order.

Any stocked jewellery ordered can be returned unworn within 7 days of receiving the item for a full refund. We will not accept returns for any items that have been worn. Please keep all packaging materials and return goods as they were sent to you.
In the UK all jewellery must be returned by fully tracked Registered Post.

Please note we do not accept returns from orders placed outside the United Kingdom.

If we do not receive the goods back to our premises no refund can be given.

We are unable to accept responsibility for the non-arrival of returned goods, unless sent as stated above.

Refunds to you will be made within 30 days of receipt of returned items and will be credited to the original purchaser’s credit card or PayPal account. The delivery charges for the original order will not be refunded.

Faulty Items

Faulty Items will only be accepted if the goods are delivered to the customer damaged. All items will be inspected and if deemed to be subject to fair wear will not be accepted as faulty.
Where possible items may be repaired, but only where such items are deemed faulty or repairable.
We offer a repair service, where repair is possible.

If the goods are found to have been damaged due to neglect or misuse refunds cannot be given, and the cost of returning goods to customer will be charged to the customer.

If you realise you have made a mistake, no longer want the items ordered and want to cancel your order, please contact us as soon as possible.

 

Exchanges Only for Stocked Jewellery

Exchanges are possible but under certain circumstances, therefore please contact us on: studio@martinoliva.co.uk to investigate if an exchange is possible.

We are unable to accept jewellery which has been made to your specification personalised or altered.

Cancelling

Whether or not you can cancel your order, depends on how advanced the stage of the order is. Contact us immediately if you wish to cancel, to discuss this. As regards bespoke orders, once the realization of order starts, it cannot be cancelled, despite any circumstances or delays.

Changes to Terms & Conditions for buying goods online

All descriptions are as accurate and up to date as possible but can be subject to change without notice due to alterations in specification by our suppliers etc. Any change in specification will be updated on the site as soon as possible. All weights and measurements are approximate and shown as a rough guide only. Prices can be subject to change with significant movement in the precious metal markets or price increases by our suppliers. In the unlikely event of a change in product price we will notify the customer before order is dispatched and give customer the option to remove that product from the order. We reserve the right to supply substitute goods of a similar type and value if a product is out of stock or no longer available.

Images may not be displayed as actual size. All sizes, weights and measurements are approximate and are taken at their widest points and included for guidance only.
