Packaging

Whenever possible, our jewellery is delivered in discreet packaging, without any external markings indicating what is inside. However, international orders that cross country borders must comply with local rules regarding the declaration of value. The actual jewellery piece is presented in a luxurious gift box with a protective outer packaging.

Quick Care Guide

Daily Dos & Don’ts

  • Put jewellery on after perfume, lotion and hair products.
  • Remove pieces before swimming, bathing, or going to the gym — chlorine, salt, and sweat accelerate tarnish.
  • In hot weather, wipe skin and jewellery often; moisture speeds up dulling.
  • Store items separately in soft pouches to avoid scratching.

At-Home Cleaning (once a month)

  1. Mix mild dish soap with lukewarm water.
  2. Soak pieces 5 min, brush gently with a soft toothbrush.
  3. Rinse in a plastic bowl of clean water; pat dry with a lint-free cloth.
  4. Finish with a silver/gold polishing cloth.
Skip dips/chemicals on rhodium-plated, oxidised finishes, pearls or porous gems.

Gemstone & Diamond Tip
Warm running water is safest. Avoid hot/cold shocks and commercial cleaners that can pit stones or loosen settings.

Pro Service (yearly)
Bring items for a jeweller’s deep clean and inspection:

Product information

Planning a secret proposal takes both patience and creativity—especially when it comes to getting the ring size just right. You’ll need a few simple tools and some clever techniques to ensure the ring fits perfectly on the big day. Don’t worry—you’re not on your own. Here’s a step-by-step guide, from sneaky measurements all the way through to final sizing and pro tips. You can also click here to download and print out our ring sizer to use at home.

1. Sneaky Sizing Strategies

Option One: Ring Tracing

  1. Wait for a moment when your partner isn’t wearing their favorite ring—maybe when they’re asleep or busy in another room.

  2. Slip the ring onto a piece of paper and use a pencil to trace two circles: one along the inner edge (diameter) and one along the outer edge (circumference).

  3. Label each circle clearly, then repeat with the same ring (or another they own) to double-check your measurements.

  4. Match your measurements against a standard ring-size chart to find the nearest size.

Option Two: Friendly Reconnaissance

  1. Recruit a trusted friend or relative—your partner’s sibling, best friend, or parent—to help you “shop” for inexpensive rings.

  2. Have them casually try on different sizes and note which ones fit best.

  3. Cross-reference those sizes with a ring-sizing chart (online or at our store).

Once you’ve narrowed down the size, you can visit our store any time. Our experts will verify the fit, show you our ring samples, and help you pick the perfect design—all in confidence.

2. Final Ring Selection

After you’ve chosen the perfect ring design, it’s crucial to confirm the size before we begin any resizing. Providing the correct ring size ensures it can be custom-sized to slide on smoothly and feel comfortable from day one.

3. How to Measure Your Finger Yourself

First Method: String or Paper Strip

  1. Take a piece of string or a thin strip of paper.

  2. Wrap it snugly around the base of the finger you plan to wear the ring on.

  3. Mark the overlap point with a pen to form a complete circle.

  4. Measure from the starting end to the mark in millimeters—this gives you the circumference.

  5. Use our ring-size conversion chart (column 2 = millimeters; column 3 = UK size) to find your size.

Second Method: Existing Ring

  1. Find a ring that already fits the intended finger comfortably.

  2. Measure its inside diameter in millimeters (column 1 on our chart).

  3. Match that measurement to the UK size in column 3.

Third Method: Professional Sizing

  1. Visit your local jeweller and ask them to size your finger.

  2. If the ring is a gift, bring in one of your partner’s rings for an accurate read.

Our UK ring sizes follow the British Standard, which increases by 1.25 mm of circumference per letter, with half sizes in between.

4. Tips for Accurate Measurements

  • Time of Day: Measure at the end of the day when your fingers are at their largest.

  • Temperature: Avoid measuring when your hands are cold—they’ll be smaller than usual.

  • Hydration & Activity: Don’t measure right after exercise or during dehydration.

  • Body Changes: Try not to measure during menstrual cycles, when water retention can alter finger size.

Bear in mind that finger sizes fluctuate slightly throughout the day and under different conditions. Whenever possible, double-check your measurement or enlist professional help to be sure the ring will fit flawlessly.

Good luck with your proposal! Getting the sizing right is one less thing to worry about, so you can focus on the moment you pop the question.
