Do you make your own jewellery?
At Martin Oliva, we take pride in our in-house workshop, where our highly skilled jewellers specialize in creating bespoke jewellery that perfectly captures your vision. As a Master Jeweller, Martin Oliva, our company owner, personally oversees the design and creation of each custom piece, ensuring the highest level of craftsmanship and attention to detail.
Whether you are looking for a bespoke engagement ring, a custom necklace, or any other unique piece, we are here to bring your ideas to life. If you would like a photograph of your bespoke jewellery during the production process, simply request it at the point of sale, and we will be happy to capture that special moment for you.
Engagement is a joyful milestone, and we understand the importance of preserving these memories. How long does it take to product an engagement ring?
If you select a jewellery item from our stock, you can expect it to be dispatched within 3 business days. For items that are made to order, the creation process typically takes between 2 to 6 weeks, depending on the intricacy of the design and the availability of the diamond or other materials.
Are all your diamonds certified?
We offer certified diamonds with GIA and IGI certifications, ensuring the highest quality and authenticity. Additionally, ourpre owned jewellery comes with an in-house purchase certificate and evaluation, providing you with complete transparency and peace of mind.
What is included in the price of the item?
All our jewellery items are inclusive of VAT and come presented in a gift box featuring our company logo. We provide additional benefits including a travel pouch (for engagement rings), insurance valuation, and a diamond certificate where applicable.

Can I change my design during the production process?
Sometimes it is still possible to make changes but you need to get in touch as soon as possible and your delivery date will change most likely due to implementation of changes. They may be an extra charge if changes are requested.
Is all your jewellery hallmarked?
All new pieces of jewellery are hallmarked, vintage pieces – hallmark may be less visible due to their age or re-sizing.
Can you make an item within my budget?
We will always do our best to offer you the best value for money and should you have a specific budget in mind we will offer you the best product you can get for within the amount you would like to spend.
Orders and Payment
How do I order an item?
You can order directly from our website and complete everything online including payment.
You can email us on info@martinoliva.co.uk with your jewellery specification and place the order via email, pay via Bank Transfer.
You can phone us and order via phone but we would still confirm the order in writing by sending you an email, we would require written confirmation from you that all details are correct.
You can order via Video Call, Whatsapp chat.
Lastly you can visit our store in South Woodford and order in person.
Do I need to pay up-front for an item?
You can pay a deposit at the point of sale and balance by collection. We require at least a 50% deposit to start work on your order.
Can I pay via Bank Transfer
You can pay securely via BACS, please e-mail us at info@martinoliva.co.uk for bank details.
Do you offer installments?
We offer Klarna installments: you can spread your purchase over 3 payments for your convenience.
Delivery
Can I collect my item from the store?
Yes, you are welcome to visit our store in South Woodford to collect your order, please make an appointment before you travel.
Is my item insured while in transit to me?
Yes, your jewellery is insured, but it is your responsibility to provide the correct address and make sure an authorized person is at home to receive it and sign for it.
How long does it take for my item to arrive?
Once your item is ready for dispatch it only takes 1 day for it to reach your UK address.
The item will arrive via Special Delivery before 1pm. We will provide you with a tracking number and you can track your item online.
Do you deliver outside the UK?
Yes, we do deliver outside the UK. Depending on the country we will choose a suitable delivery company and provide you with tracking information. Charges apply accordingly depending on the country. Please email us on info@martinoliva.co.uk
Returns and Aftercare
What items are subject to refund?
Items from stock
What items are not subject to refund?
– Bespoke pieces that were commissioned and made to order with your specification, that includes pieces that required CAD drawings.
– Items that were personalized – engraved, re-sized to a non-standard size etc.
How do I return item from stock?
If your item is not suitable and you wish to exchange it or return it, we kindly ask you to fill out our Return Form and email it to us, we will be in touch with further instructions. Please keep original packaging and keep your jewellery safe in the box until you post it back to us via Recorded Delivery. Once the item arrives we will sign for the delivery and examine the item, shortly after the refund will be processed to your original payment method.
Do you offer Warranty?
Yes, we offer a 12 months warranty. Watches Produced from the 1980s and lower come with a 3-month warranty
Do you provide after care services?
Yes, first polish and clean on engagement rings is free of charge.
We have a workshop at the back of the store and can provide the following services:
Re-sizing, Rhodium coating, polishing, cleaning, repairs.
